THe purpose of this notice is to publicize to the maximum extent practicable this contracting opportunity available to Small Businesses capable of performing design build construction services for the addition of elevator safety features and replacement of elevator equipment for modernization. The project requires the placement of the controller with a new microprocessor based controller, replacement of the door equipment and new signal fixtures with vandal resistant pushbuttons and various adjustment to return operation of the elevator to optimal levels. The project will include electrical and data/communication wiring. Place of Performance is the Hatfield United States Courthouse located in Portland, Oregon. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the magnitude of construction is estimated to be $500,000 to $1,000,000. Basis of Award is Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). Contractors shall be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) as a Small Business for this solicitation's NAICS code at time of receipt of proposal. Contractors are required to have a unique entity identifier number and an active registration in SAM (www.sam.gov) in order to conduct business with the Federal Government. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the magnitude of construction is estimated to be $500,000 and $1,000,000.
