Placing a new housekeeping pad. 2. Installing a new heat plate exchanger sized for this existing system. 3. Installing new hydronic piping to this exchanger and connecting the new piping to the existing piping. 4. Flush and treat new and existing piping as required. 5. Conduct all start up and balancing required to bring the system online. 6. Make any final adjustments when the system is under full load. 7. Ensure new system properly interfaces with existing control systems. 8. The work shall be coordinated with the GSA to ensure the work minimally impacts daily operations. This will include limiting overly noisy operations to after normal working hours (after 1700 and before 0700hours.) 9. The General Contractor shall provide non-hazardous construction & demolition waste figures as part of the “Close Out” documentation. 10. The General Contractor shall provide a minimum of a two (2) year warranty for all labor and materials associated with the project, unless a longer term is stated elsewhere.

The General Services Administration (GSA) Pacific Rim Region announces an opportunity for construction services for a design build project, Install Plate and Frame Heat Exchanger, at the Lloyd D. George Federal Courthouse, 333 Las Vegas Blvd. South, Las Vegas, NV. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, supplies, materials, parts, equipment, and tools to perform the specified work. This work will include all necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, supervision and technical expertise required to provide architectural, engineering, construction, and other related services necessary to provide and install a new housekeeping pad; install a new heat plate exchanger sized for this existing system; install new hydronic piping to this exchanger and connecting the new piping to the existing piping; flush and treat new and existing piping as required; start up system and ensure system interfaces with existing controls systems. This requirement is a competitive, 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. The estimated project cost is between $250,000 and $500,000, with an anticipated project duration of approximately 302 calendar days. The Request For Proposal (RFP) will be issued on or about 02/15/2021. The technical specifications in the RFP are considered Sensitive but Unclassified Information. Therefore, interested vendors will need to be approved prior to gaining access to the RFP package.
