The Contractor shall provide inspection services for the elevators listed in the attached Equipment Data Sheet for the GSA building(s) located above. The term "Elevator" when used in this scope of work shall cover any A17.1 and A18.1 code compliant equipment such as escalators, dumbwaiter, and related equipment in the elevator inventory list. The contracted elevator inspector is responsible for witnessing and certifying the tests in accordance with the ANSI/ASME A17.1 Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators. Inspection procedures shall be in accordance with the ANSI/ASME A17.2 Guide for Inspection of Elevators, Escalators, and Moving Walks.
