Work includes, but is not limited to: provide labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to remove and replace two sets of exterior stairs at the Aberdeen Federal Building in Aberdeen, South Dakota. The goal of the project is to replace one 4 tread and one 5 tread failing concrete stairs with new concrete and steel stairs and ornamental handrails. The two sets of stairs are part of the egress paths from the building site to the public rights of way. All work will be at the Federal Building in Aberdeen, South Dakota. The work shall be completed within 30 calendar days after the notice to proceed. The project’s estimated cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The solicitation will be issued on March 26, 2024, at https://sam.gov/, with offers due on April 24, 2024. Anticipated award date is May 17, 2024. Information regarding a site visit will be announced in the solicitation. A site visit is recommended. This procurement is being set-aside for small businesses only. To be eligible for award, contractors must be REGISTERED and ACTIVE with the System for Award Management (SAM) at sam.gov. All responsible sources submitting an offer will be considered.
