Work includes, but is not limited to: Project consists of removing the existing vinyl composition tile (VCT), and associated mastic from the first floor corridor at the United States Courthouse in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Both the tile and mastic are asbestos containing materials (ACM) and will be abated as part of this project. The abatement area is approximately 1,400 square feet. Following abatement, new tile flooring will be installed, consisting of terrazzo tile with a natural stone border. Modular carpet will be installed in one vestibule area. Some doors and millwork will need to be altered to accommodate the new flooring. The Contractor shall coordinate all demolition and construction between trades and shall leave affected area in an as-found condition at the conclusion of the project. All work will be performed at the US Courthouse, Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Security clearances will be required for all workers. Work to be completed within 90 calendar days after notice to proceed. Estimated cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000. The solicitation will be issued on February 19, 2020 at https://beta.sam.gov/, with offers due on March 12, 2020. Anticipated award date is March 31, 2020. Information regarding a site visit will be announced in the solicitation. A site visit is recommended.
