Work includes, but is not limited to: Project consists of installing a new partition wall and flush wood door where an approximately 6-foot wide corridor meets the lobby. The door shall have full vision lite, and be factory finished to match adjacent doors. The door will include an automatic opener on a dedicated circuit with 6-inch round, flush-mounted actuators. The welded metal door frame shall accommodate the door opener and be painted to match adjacent frames. Other finish materials, fixtures, and accessories shall match existing. Install one new emergency light fixture and one new sprinkler head to be fully integrated with existing systems. Relocate one security camera, one occupancy sensor, one emergency light fixture, and two recessed light fixtures. Contractor shall coordinate all modifications between trades and shall reconfigure all systems in an as-new condition at the conclusion of the project. All work will be performed at the Federal Building, Huron, South Dakota. Security clearances will be required for all workers. Work to be completed within 30 calendar days after notice to proceed. Estimated cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The solicitation will be issued on September 25, 2019 at www.fbo.gov, with offers due on October 16, 2019. Anticipated award date is October 30, 2019. Information regarding a site visit will be announced in the solicitation. A site visit is recommended. This procurement is being set-aside for small businesses only. To be eligible for award, contractors must be REGISTERED and ACTIVE with the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov on the offer due date.
