Work includes, but is not limited to: contractor shall provide labor, materials, equipment and supervision to perform removal of approximately (60) square feet of gypsum board wall and studs, constructing approximately (1650) square feet of new ceiling high drywall partition; paint and primer approximately 7,200 square feet of gypsum board walls; remove and replace of approximately 300 square yards of carpet tiles; install (1) new VAV box and duct work, also relocating supply air ducts and light troffers; install 4 new solid core door and hollow metal door frames with all new door hardware; install 4 door side lights with glass; construct approximately (1,650) square feet of 2-1/2" 20 gauge steel studs 16" OC ceiling high partition walls, with 2-1/2" thick sound attenuation with a sound coefficient (STC) of 43 between metal studs from slab to ceiling; remove (12) existing data runs located next to the existing systems furniture; install (4) new single pole single throw 20 amp light switches; install (4) new occupancy sensors in the private offices; install the (15) 120 volt 20 amp duplex wall outlets, conduit and install (15) new Cat6 data wall outlets, with 1 port RJ-45 jacks. All work will be performed at the Federal Building, Aberdeen, South Dakota. Security clearances will be required for all workers. Work to be completed within 60 calendar days after notice to proceed. Estimated cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000. The solicitation will be issued on May 23, 2019 at www.fbo.gov, with offers due on June 13, 2019. Anticipated award date is July 12, 2019. Information regarding a site visit will be announced in the solicitation. A site visit is recommended. This procurement is being set-aside for small businesses only. To be eligible for award, contractors must be REGISTERED and ACTIVE with the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov on the offer due date.
