B95 EXTERIOR REPLACEMENT, DENVER FEDERAL CENTER SOURCES SOUGHT - The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine the appropriate level of competition in the marketplace, in accordance with FAR 19.10. Information received in response to this notice will be used to make a determination regarding the use of full and open competition or set aside the procurement as an 8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOB), Woman-Owned Business, Veteran-Owned Business or Large Business. INTRODUCTION: General Services Administration is seeking viable and qualified contractors that have performed or have the capability to perform the exterior work as defined below. This procurement is pursuant to NAICS Code 238190, Other Foundation, Structure, and Building Exterior Contractors, with a $15 million threshold, to include all subsidiaries and any parent company. PROJECT BACKGROUND AND DESCRIPTION: The General Services Administration, Region 8, is initiating a design/build project to re-clad building 95 on the Denver Federal Center in Lakewood Colorado. The goal of this project is to replace the existing stucco wall cladding assembly utilizing an appropriate system to provide a slightly updated character along with an energy efficient wall assembly. The GSA feels that utilizing a cementitious wall panel system would provide longevity, energy efficiency and an updated aesthetic look for this structure. EXISTING BUILDING DESCRIPTION: Building 95 is a two story structure with a third partial penthouse level located on the West side of the Denver Federal Center campus with an area of approximately 150,800 square feet per floor (not including the penthouses). The exterior wall finish consists of a base story of split face Concrete Masonry Unit (CMU) veneer and modular brick accents with stucco above and a aluminum storefront window system for the building fenestration. The stucco system utilizes a cement based fiber reinforced one step base coat with a textured elastomeric acrylic finish coat. The roof finish is partially sloped standing seam metal, and flat EPDM membrane. Estimated Magnitude of Project Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. CAPABILITY STATEMENT: Interested contractors capable of performing as the prime contractor and who meet the requirements stated herein, are encouraged to submit a Capability Statement no more than five (5) pages in length. Capability Statement must include the following information: 1. Name, DUNS Number, address, business size, primary point of contact and annual revenue for the past three (3) years. 2. Company status: 8(a), HUBZone, SDVOSB, SB, WOSB or Other than Small Business 3. Affiliate information: parent company, joint venture partners, and potential teaming partners. 4. Proof of satisfactory past performance on similar in size and scope projects. Comparable size would be exceeding $500,000. Past performance must be within the last 5 years. Include contract numbers, project titles, contract value, points of contact with current phone numbers and a brief statement as to why the project is relevant to this sources sought notice. 5. Documentation of adequate financial resources to perform the contract or ability to obtain them. 6. Maximum bonding level per contract and aggregate. 7. Statement regarding ability to provide or obtain all necessary expertise, tools and equipment. 8. A positive statement of your intention to propose as a prime contractor on any solicitations that may be released as a result of this sources sought notice.
