This is a sources sought synopsis for the General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service, Region 8, Denver Federal Center (GSA). This is not a solicitation announcement, and there is no request for proposal or related documents. This synopsis is exclusively for market research to determine the interest of qualified small business sources. Information gathered from market research may be used to assess the competitive environment, method of solicitation, type of contract, content of the solicitation, and for other planning purposes. Contract Type: The anticipated type of contract is a firm-fixed price, recurring service contract with a five year base period. The Government anticipates award of a contract to one awardee. NAICS : The NAICS code for the procurement is 561720 Janitorial Services with a size standard of $18 million. Set-Aside: The Government intends to set aside the requirement for small business concerns. Anticipated Scope: The objective of this contract is going to be to provide custodial, composting, and pest control services at the Denver Federal Center for buildings 1, 1A, 15, 16, 20, 21, 25, 94, 95, 40, 41, 44, 45, 46, 50, 52, 53, 54, 55, 64, 64A, 710, 710A and Guard Shacks 1-7. The Contractor must provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, supplies, repair parts, tools and equipment and must plan, schedule, coordinate and assure effective, timely performance of all services. Interested contractors are encouraged to provide a capability statement to demonstrate an overview of contractors experience and ability to provide the requested services. Please limit information to no more than 5 standard size pages. Note: Any proprietary information submitted in response must be clearly marked. Other Information: If a solicitation is released for the need described above, then all interested firms will be required to register in the Government's System for Award Management (SAM). This request for information shall not be construed as a request for proposal nor as a commitment by the Government. Information is to be provided on a voluntary basis. No reimbursement of direct or indirect costs or charges, including postage and shipping, or any other costs will be made as a result of the submission of information. Contractors are highly encouraged to submit questions and comments in writing to david.berry@gsa.gov and john.kelley@gsa.gov. The Government will not provide information by telephone.
