The intent of this project is to remove and replace the existing aged and deteriorated gravel covered build-up roof system down to the existing concrete deck. Then install a new roofing system inclusive of tapered insulation, roofing membrane, cap sheet and accessories. The extent of this work is as outlined in the supporting drawings, specifications and the Scope of Work. The area of this project is Lanham Roof Restoration, Fritz G. Lanham Federal Building (TX0224ZZ), 819 Taylor Street, Fort Worth, Texas 76102, approximately 14,720 square feet in overall size. Demolition and construction activities may take place any hours provided building operations are not interrupted and tenants are not disturbed. Instead of the above, this option is for demolition and construction activities to only take place outside of the normal working hours of 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal holidays. The total period of performance for this task order is 240 calendar days and includes 90 calendar days for required security clearances, pre-work submittals, and material ordering. The actual demolition and construction period of performance is 150 calendar days.

Your proposal will include an option for 100% after hours work. The firm must be a general constructing firm under the specified NAICS and size standard identified below. GENERAL CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENT: Remove all existing roofing materials in the area of work and replace with new roofing materials. All materials are to be recycled or disposed of within standard sustainability requirements in accordance with FAR 36-206. Disclosure of the magnitude of construction projects, the construction cost of magnitude is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000.
