Notice of Intent to Sole Source The General Services Administration intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b), due to only one source being available to meet the Government's needs, to the Global Com, 23465 Rock Haven Way, Suite 140, Sterling, VA, 20166-4429. Global Com will be responsible for the installation of the IT network and cabling for the new Department of Homeland Security, Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (DHS) office in Irving, TX. Global Com is the authorized administrator on all DHS owned network systems. The technicians have been vetted and hold all security authorizations to work on DHS network systems. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice is not a request for quote and a solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with the notice of intent. Any contractor that believes it can provide the stated services can provide supporting documents demonstrating their capability to perform the required work. The contractor must be authorized to administer DHS owned-networks and hold all required security authorizations to work on DHS network systems. All responsible sources may submit a proposal by the closing date of this announcement which shall be considered by the agency. All capability statements or proposals are due by 12:00 PM Central Time, April 19, 2019. Responses can be sent to the Contracting Officer; Brenna Lanphear at brenna.lanphear@gsa.gov.
