Notice Type: Sources Sought Synopsis: THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. The following work will be performed at the Fort Worth Federal Parking Garage; 401 Texas St., Fort Worth, TX 76102. This notice does not represent a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Market research is being conducted to determine if there are Small Business concerns with the capabilities, qualifications, and interest to perform the work required. The scope of work includes the furnishing of all labor, supervision, equipment, material (unless otherwise noted) of all work requested for the Fire Protection upgrades to include the installation of a fire sprinkler system and interfacing this system with the existing fire alarm system. Please note: This upgrade will require the prospective contractor to be fully licensed State Fire & Sprinkler Contractor in the state of Texas. The estimated cost range for all work is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Work to be performed under the contemplated contract will be within the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 238220 Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors with a size standard of $19 Million. All offerors are advised that this project may be revised or canceled at any time during the sources sought, synopsis, solicitation, selection, evaluation, negotiation, and final award. In responding to this Sources Sought, please indicate your: (1) Interest as a Small Business contractor to include any Small Business Concern classification such as Veteran-Owned Small Business, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, HUBZone small business, Small Disadvantaged Business, and Women-Owned Small Business concerns; (2) Brief Capabilities Statement (no more than 2 pages), that include meeting licensing requirements to perform the work in this project; (3) brief description of your firm’s past experience and qualifications regarding this type of work, and (4) a complete and current record of your System for Award Management (SAM – www.sam.gov) information which includes DUNS number, Organization name, address, contact name, email address, Web site address, telephone number, type of organization, and small business type(s). It is anticipated that this project will take approximately 365 calendar days to complete. Please note that there is no solicitation available at this time; the purpose of this announcement is to identify available sources only. Award of any resulting procurement will be based on a source selection employing a Best Value Tradeoff methodology.
