April 8, 2022 Subject: Request for Proposal – Elevator Modernization, Isaac Parker Federal Building and US Courthouse, 30 S. 6th Street, Fort Smith, AR 72903 Dear Contractors: The General Services Administration (GSA) is requesting you to submit a proposal to modernize one existing operation traction passenger elevator in the Isaac Parker Federal Building and US Courthouse, located at 30 S. 6th Street, Fort Smith, AR 72903, IAW the scope of work (SOW) dated 02/14/2022. Please see attached Statement of Work dated 02/14/2022 for complete requirements concerning this project. The contract shall be completed within 365 calendar days, which includes 45 calendar days for required security clearances, pre-work submittals, and material ordering. Majority of the construction will be performed during working hours 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Liquidated Damages: $250.00 per day Magnitude of the project will between $500,000 and 1,000,000.
