GSA PBS Region 7 intends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis for the new planters and maintenance of existing planters to: Robinson Iron 1856 Robinson Road Alexander City, AL 35010 2. The sole source rational for this requirement is attached to this posting. It provides information as to the Government's reasoning for issuing a sole source purchase order. 3. All responsible sources that believe they may be capable of satisfying this requirement may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. 4. This is a combined synopsis / solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 5. This solicitation is being requested as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation number is 47PH05-19-Q-0012. 6. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2019-01. 7. If the offeror's SAM registration (to include their representations and certifications) is up to date and all reps & certs have been filled out electronically, the offeror should only fill out Paragraph B of 52.212-3. Quotes are due: 1700 CST 27 March 2019 Proposals must be emailed to the POC identified below. It is the offeror's responsibility to ensure proposals are received by the Government by the due date. If you wait until the last minute to email your offer, and the email is not received for some reason (e.g. email server or computer issues) by Government POC by the due date, that is your fault.
