This is the official notification that the General Services Administration (GSA), Public Building Services, Acquisition Management Division, Services Acquisition Branch intends to solicit and award a contract for Operations and Mechanical Maintenance Services at the Sioux City Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse, 320 6th Street, Sioux City, Iowa 51101. The Contractor must provide all administration, management, supervision, labor, materials, supplies, repair parts, tools and equipment; and must plan, schedule, coordinate, inspect and ensure effective and economical completion of all work and services specified for the operation, maintenance and repair of the building(s), equipment and related services specified in this contract for the Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse and all equipment, electrical and mechanical systems, structures, architectural finishes, and utilities, located on, within, or beneath, this facility’s interior and exterior extending to the legal property line. Elevator Maintenance Services are excluded from the scope of work. Subcontracting for qualified Fire Alarm maintenance and Remote Monitoring services and 3rd party Pressure Vessel PM Inspections are required of the O&M contractor. The solicitation number is 47PG0121R0005. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available on the Government-wide point of entry, betaSAM, on or about April 1, 2021. The solicitation will be a set-aside exclusively for Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) firms. The NAICS code is 561210, and the size standard is $41.5 million. The FSC code is J041. The solicitation will include details on site visit dates and times. Proposals will be due approximately thirty (30) days after the solicitation is issued. Contract award will be for one-year base period and four (4) one-year option periods with an anticipated start date of October 1, 2021. DO NOT SUBMIT QUESTIONS UNTIL THE RFP IS ISSUED.
