This is the official notification that the General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Services, Acquisition Management Division, Services Acquisition Branch intends to solicit and award a contract for Operations and Mechanical Maintenance Services at the Neil Smith Federal Building, located at 210 Walnut St, US Courthouse at 123 E. Walnut St, and US Courthouse at 110 Locust St, in Des Moines, IA. The latter courthouse building is currently under construction, and will be scaled into operation as the old courthouses assets are transferred over. The Contractor shall provide all administration, management, supervisor, labor, materials, supplies, repair parts, tools and equipment; and shall plan, schedule, coordinate, inspect and ensure effective and economical completion of all work and services specified for the operation, maintenance and repair of the building(s), equipment and related services specified in the solicitation for the listed locations and all equipment, electrical and mechanical systems, structures, architectural finishes, and utilities, located on, within, or beneath, this facility’s interior and exterior extending to the legal property line. The solicitation number is 47PG0120R0009. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available on the Government-wide point of entry, betaSAM, on or about September 30, 2020. This solicitation will be set-aside exclusively for Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) firms. The NAICS code is 561210, and the size standard is $41.5 million. The FSC code is J041. The solicitation will include details on site visit dates and times. Proposal will be due approximately thirty (30) days after the solicitation is issued.
