This Request for Proposals (RFP) is related to the synopsis posted on July 26, 2024 titled "Hammond Atrium Window Wall and Sloped Canopy Glazing." The purpose of this solicitation is to acquire construction services for the Atrium Window Wall and Sloped Canopy Renovations project at Hammond U.S. Courthouse, 5400 Federal Plaza, Hammond, IN 46320. A pre proposal meeting and site visit is scheduled for Monday, August 26, 2024 at 11:00 AM Central Time. You will find all of the information needed to register for this meeting and submit your proposal in the two documents attached to this solicitation notice. This is a full and open solicitation. Atrium window wall and sloped glazing construction is to be performed at the United States Courthouse at 5400 Federal Plaza, Hammond, Indiana 46320. This project is anticipated to include, but is not limited to the following work: Restoring the existing building enclosure against water intrusion Renovation of the existing curtain wall system Renovation of sloped canopy system to stop ongoing water infiltration The estimated price range for all work is between $1,000,000 and $3,000,000. This procurement is a full and open solicitation. This is a negotiated procurement; therefore, a public bid opening will not be held. The solicitation will be available on or about August 12, 2024. A pre-bid walkthrough is estimated to be held on shortly after the solicitation is posted. Please consult the solicitation for final details regarding this walkthrough. If a pre-bid walkthrough date is confirmed prior to the solicitation, this synopsis will be updated to include the details. The solicitation cited above can only be obtained by accessing a website known as SAM.gov. SAM.gov is a secure website designed to safeguard Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) acquisition information. SAM.gov is fully integrated with other electronic Government initiatives and is available for use by all Federal agencies. Registration in SAM.gov is required in order to download solicitation documents and is used to validate vendor identity. Contractors not registered in these systems will be ineligible to download the solicitation and ineligible for an award.
