Atrium window wall and sloped glazing construction is to be performed at the United States Courthouse at 5400 Federal Plaza, Hammond, Indiana 46320. This project includes, but is not limited to the following work: Restoring the existing building enclosure against water intrusion Renovation of the existing curtain wall system Renovation of sloped canopy system to stop ongoing water infiltration The estimated price range for all work is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This procurement is being set aside for all Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction) with a small business size standard of $45 million. This is a negotiated procurement; therefore, a public bid opening will not be held. The solicitation will be available on or about March 1, 2024. A pre-bid walkthrough is estimated to be held on March 11 at 11AM CST. Please consult the solicitation for final details regarding this walkthrough. The solicitation cited above can only be obtained by accessing a secure website known as SAM.gov. SAM.gov is a secure website designed to safeguard Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) acquisition information. SAM.gov is fully integrated with other electronic Government initiatives and is available for use by all Federal agencies. Registration in SAM.gov is required in order to download solicitation documents and is used to validate vendor identity. Contractors not registered in these systems will be ineligible to download the solicitation and ineligible for an award.
