The purpose of this solicitation is to acquire construction services for the Stair Replacement and Loading Dock Upgrade project at the E. Ross Adair Federal Building & U.S. Courthouse in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The project includes, but is not limited to the following work in each location: Mechanical Room (North) Stairs: Replace existing stairs, landing and sidewalk. Repair deteriorated concrete at stairway retaining walls. Remove and replace sealant at retaining wall coping. Loading Dock: Replace two existing loading dock access personnel door, frame, and threshold. Replace existing loading dock stairs. Repair deteriorated concrete at loading dock walls. Install new traffic-bearing membrane. Secured Parking (South) Stair: Replace lower two flights of existing stairs and landings. Install new traffic-bearing membrane to new and existing stairs and landings. West Façade: Repoint existing mortar joints at north end. Install new sealant at windows, louvers and between dissimilar types of stone. West Plaza: Remove existing concrete topping to allow for proper termination of waterproofing membrane to include new flashing/reglet, end dams. Flood test area. Reinstall concrete. This procurement is being set-aside as a service-disabled veteran-owned Small Business acquisition. The NAICS code is 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction) with a small business size standard of $45 million. This is a negotiated procurement, therefore, a public bid opening will not be held. The solicitation will be available on or about January 16, 2024. The solicitation cited above can only be obtained by accessing a secure website known as SAM.gov. SAM.gov is a secure website designed to safeguard Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) acquisition information. SAM.gov is fully integrated with other electronic Government initiatives and is available for use by all Federal agencies.
