The General Services Administration (GSA), Region 05, is seeking a qualified contractor for the following: removal of existing 6-story masonry wall, demolition of wall mounted artwork, new structural hollow brick wall, metal stud and sheathing, weather barrier, shaftwall, TPO roof patching and coping. This work will take place at 11 W. Quincy Court, Chicago, Illinois. The construction performance period is 1121 calendar days from receipt of full Notice to Proceed at Award. This procurement is a total women-owned small business set aside. The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 236220 with a size standard of $45.0 million. The total estimated construction cost for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This is a negotiated procurement; there will NOT be a public bid opening. The awardee will be competitively chosen using Source Selection (FAR 15.3) procedures. The objective of the Source Selection Process is to select a proposal that represents the best value to the Government. Evaluation factors will consist of experience, past performance, qualifications of key personnel, project management plan/approach and price. Non-price factors will be considered more important than price. As non-price factors become equal, price becomes the determining factor. Interested offerors are responsible for downloading the solicitation and monitoring the website for amendment(s), if any to the solicitation. Offers will be due March 14, 2024 at 4:00pm (Central Time). A pre-proposal conference and site visit was scheduled for January 24, 2024 at 1pm CST.
