Eastern Time (Local) The following work will be performed at the Robert A. Grant Federal Building & U.S. Courthouse in South Bend, Indiana. The project includes, but is not limited to the following work: Clean all marble and granite base. Clean and re-grout all joints Repair / replace damaged panels and base pieces. Reset loose and out of plumb panels All workers over 10 days to have HSPD12 clearance Contractor to have interior marble historic preservation experience Sound all wainscoting in order to determine additional loose panels. Repair any holes larger than a dime. Investigate cause of initial failure Test clean via mock-ups for best solution The estimated price range for all work is between $250,000 and $500,000. This procurement is being set-aside as an Economically-Disadvantaged Woman-owned Small Business acquisition. The NAICS code is 238340 (Tile and Terrazzo Contractors) with a small business size standard of $19 million. This is a negotiated procurement, therefore, a public bid opening will not be held. The solicitation will be available on or about March 10, 2023. The solicitation cited above can only be obtained by accessing a secure website known as SAM.gov. SAM.gov is a secure website designed to safeguard Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) acquisition information. SAM.gov is fully integrated with other electronic Government initiatives and is available for use by all Federal agencies.
