Liberty St., Ann Arbor, MI 48104. This acquisition will result in a single contract award. Services will include, but are not limited to: replacing low-slope roofs, tear-off, new roofing, underlayment and accessories as shown on drawings, minor coordination of existing mechanical HVAC, electrical and certain other related equipment during project progress. All work to be performed under the awarded contract will be in accordance with the design specifications and drawings, which will be provided with the solicitation. Duration of Project: Estimated to begin in Spring 2022. The contractor shall achieve substantial completion of the work no later than 90 calendar days from issuance of a Notice to Proceed. Disclosure of Magnitude of Construction: Between $500,000 and $1,000,000 The procurement is set-aside for Small Businesses only. The NAICS code for this procurement is 238160 (Roofing Contractors) with a size standard of $16.5 million. This is a negotiated procurement; there will not be a public bid opening. Proposals will be evaluated on price, past experience, and past performance. All responsible small business concerns, under the applicable NAICs, may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. For this procurement, non-price factors will be significantly more important than price. The preproposal conference was scheduled and held on August 18, 2021 at 11:00 AM Eastern Time. There will be a pre-proposal conference conducted, inclusive of a tour of the site. The solicitation will be available for download through the System for Award Management (SAM) website (www.sam.gov).
