Upgrade 12 passenger elevators with new, state of the art, energy efficient, non-proprietary, microprocessor-based controllers and drives. Refurbishment of governors, buffers and pit equipment for each elevator, and realignment of any misaligned guide rails. The fire command panel will be replaced and incorporated with the emergency power operation panel along with the fire alarm monitoring and management system. Guarded LED lighting will be added in pits and shafts. All abandoned equipment will be removed in machine rooms, the contractor is to provide all the management, supervision, manpower, equipment and supplies necessary for this project. The contract completion time for this project is six hundred and ninety five (695) calendar days from receipt of notice to proceed. The estimated cost range is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. This is a negotiated, best value procurement. The contractor is to provide all management, supervision, manpower, equipment, and supplies necessary for this project. This procurement is a total small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 236220. It is anticipated the Request for Proposal will be issued in February 2021.
