A SOLICITATION WILL BE POSTED ON OR ABOUT June 4, 2020 This is not a request for offers or proposals. This notice does not represent a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract. This is strictly for market research to determine the availability and adequacy of potential sources with the capabilities and experience to perform the required work. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for information received as a result of this announcement. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. Project Description The General Services Administration (GSA), Great Lakes Region (Region 5), is seeking interest for Skywalk Repairs. The purpose of this project involves repairs to the Skywalk Bridge, ramp, and stairs at the main entrance to the 650 Federal Building East St. Louis, IL. This work will include structural repairs to damaged concrete, removal and replacement of associated railings, repainting of the skywalk surfaces, flagpole removal and replacement, and masonry restoration work. The existing jersey barriers adjacent to the pedestrian entrance will be removed and the concrete sidewalk will be reworked. The performance period is 175 calendar days upon receipt of Notice to Proceed. The anticipated award is on or about August 2020.
