The U.S. General Services Administration has the need for continuation of Vegetated Roof Maintenance Services at the Birch Bayh Federal Building & US Courthouse 46 E. Ohio Street Indianapolis, IN 46204-1903. The current contract expires on February 28, 2021. The procurement is unrestricted to any business size categories. The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 561730. The performance period for vegetated roof maintenance services is scheduled to commence on March 1, 2021 for a one-year base period, ending February 28, 2022. There are four (4) one-year option periods that may be exercised. The option periods will cover performance from March 1, 2022 through February 28, 2023; March 1, 2023 through February 29, 2024; March 1, 2025 through February 28, 2025; and March 1, 2025 through February 28, 2026 respectively. The contractor shall be responsible for performing landscape services as required in the statement of work. Maintenance for the vegetated roof shall be performed by person(s) certified to work on green roof systems. The vegetated roof shall be inspected and maintained per the manufacturer’s recommendations. The contractor shall be responsible for performing all work under this contract in accordance with Federal, State, County, City laws and codes, and follow the more stringent of them. In addition to compliance with these laws, the Contractor shall follow all applicable standard industry practices, including but not limited to: Occupational and Safety Health Act (OSHA). This is negotiated, firm fixed price procurement; there will NOT be a public bid opening. Proposals will be opened privately. The solicitation will be available on or about October 8, 2020, the actual date for receipt of proposals will be stated in the solicitation. The solicitation cited above can only be obtained by accessing a secure website known as Beta SAM. This website has officially replaced FBO.gov. Beta.SAM is a secure website designed to safeguard sensitive but unclassified (SBU) acquisition information. It is fully integrated with other electronic government initiatives such as the System for Award Management (SAM) database, and is available for use by all Federal agencies. In order to obtain information from beta.SAM, you will first be required to register in SAM. The System for Award Management database is a part of the Business Partner Network, an e-gov initiative, and will be used to validate vendor identity. All government contractors must be registered in SAM prior to receiving an award. You may access SAM at the following URLwww.sam.gov. Once you have registered in SAM you will be required to register with beta.SAM. No federal materials can be downloaded until you have registered under both sites.
