This notice does not represent a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract. This is strictly market research to determine availability and adequacy of potential sources with the capabilities and experience to perform the required work. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for information received as a result of this announcement. Request for solicitation will not receive a response. The General Services Administration (GSA), Great Lakes Region (Region 5), has a verified need for the following work at the Lee H. Hamilton Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse in New Albany, Indiana. Work includes, but is not limited to, replacing the existing EPDM roofing system, insulation, and associated construction. It will also replace the existing cooling tower and associated construction. Bid options include the following: repointing penthouse limestone, repointing and repainting exterior Concrete Masonry Unit (CMU) walls, blasting and repainting decorative screens, replace 10 pumps, remediate mold and repair/replace existing return air ducts. The construction cost is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. The performance period is 90 calendar days. The anticipated award date is before August 21, 2020. The NAICS code is 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction) with a small business size standard of $39.5 million. No other information is available at this time. Are you a small or large business? Include three projects completed within the last five years similar in size and scope to the work described above. If yes, please explain and provide a customer point of contact (telephone and email address) Indicate your intent to bid on a subsequent solicitation.
