Remove and replace various interior finishes for approximately 280,000 sf of office space. These finishes will include: flooring (carpeting, VCT), limited new partitions, wall finishes (painting, wall base, door frames, chair rail), and mill work replacement. 2. The owner will provide and install new furniture workstation systems to integrate into this construction as defined in the documents. 3. Supporting this work mechanical redistribution will be required along with modifications to the fire alarm, lighting, sprinkler distribution layout, and electrical and data feeds for all of the new workstations. 4. Abatement of flooring mastic. The contract completion time for this project is nine hundred and eighty seven (987) calendar days from receipt of notice to proceed. The estimated cost range is more than $10,000,000. This is a negotiated, best value procurement. The contractor is to provide all the management, supervision, manpower, equipment and supplies necessary for this project. This procurement is a total small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 236220 with an average gross revenue of $36.5 million. It is anticipated the Request for Proposal will be issued in January 2020. The solicitation cited above can only be obtained by accessing a secure website known as the System for Award Management (SAM). This is a secure website designed to safeguard sensitive but unclassified (SBU) acquisition information. This website has recently taken over for FedBizOpps (Federal Business Opportunities) and is fully integrated with all the capabilities of FedBizOpps, and is available for use by all Federal Agencies. All government contractors must be registered in SAM prior to receiving an award.
