The Government intends to award a stand-alone contract for childcare furniture including delivery and installation at the Fort Benjamin Federal Center, 5545 Herbert Lord Road, Indianapolis, IN, The furniture must meet the requirements contained in the attached RFQ. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement, including the attachments referenced herein, constitutes the solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this RFQ is 47PF0020Q0171. The solicitation package is attached. The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-35. This Solicitation is being set aside for small business. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement 337214, and size standard is 1000 employees. If you are a dealer, you must provide product manufactured by a small business meeting this size standard. See attached RFQ for the complete description of the items to be acquired. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (i) technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement as stated herein; (ii) price; (iii) past performance, and; (iv) schedule. Technical capability is the most important factor. Past performance, price, and schedule are equally rated. Technical capability includes the ability of the item to perform the intended function and meet the requirements stated herein, physical appearance, and quality.
