This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written Solicitation/Request for Quote is issued herein. The U.S. General Services Administration has a need for Fire Protectioin and Safety Surveys and a report of the findings at seven locations: 1. MI0502BC - Federal Center Building 1A 50 Washington Ave. N, Battle Creek, MI. 49037-3001 6. MI0538BC - Federal Center Building 1B 74 Washington Ave. N, Battle Creek, MI. 49037-3028 7. MI0524BC - Federal Center Building 28 50 Washington Ave. N, Battle Creek, MI. 49037-3001 The service will ensure the continued health & safety of the building occupants and other building assets. This procurement will be a total small business set-aside. The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 541690. The project scope will consist of all management supervision, supplies, & equipment to perform the Fire Protectionand Safety Surveys at the aforementioned locations and in accordance with the project specifications. This is a negotiated, firm fixed price procurement; there will NOT be a public bid opening. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. Full details of this requirement and the evaluation factors will be provided in the solicitation package. The solicitation cited above can only be obtained by accessing a secure website known as FedBizOpps (FBO). FBO is a secure website designed to safeguard sensitive but unclassified (SBU) acquisition information. FBO is fully integrated with other electronic Government initiatives, including the System for Award Management (SAM) (www.sam.gov) database, and is available for use by all Federal agencies. Registration in both SAM and FBO websites is required in order to download solicitation documents and is used to validate vendor identity. Contractors not registered in these systems will be ineligible to download the solicitation and ineligible for an award. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and monitoring the website for amendment(s), if any to the solicitation.
