Project Summary: This project will correct the existing water intrusion issues occurring in the building, as well as improving the existing building enclosure system for long term performance. Work to include, but is not limited to, existing historic wood doors and window assemblies to be restored (repaired, stripped, re-painted, and re-sealed), along with incorporating new high-performance perimeter seals for a watertight condition. Restoration includes lead-based paint abatement and glazing compounds. Exterior limestone facade to be cleaned and repaired. Existing 2nd story portico to receive extensive repairs to balustrade, along with removal/re-installation of existing stone flooring and waterproofing. Exterior enclosure work to also include in-place mock-ups as well as third party water testing. Miscellaneous wall and ceiling patch/repair work to occur throughout the building to accomodate new work. Stuctural repairs, lead/asbestos abatement and other work to occur per drawings and specifications (to be furnished upon RFP issuance). Magnitude: $1-5M Bonds (Bid, Performance/Payment): Required PoP: 300 days (negotiable) IMPORTANT NOTICE: The set-aside type is tentative and may change. Interested offerors that have similar past experience and performance, along with qualified/experienced key personnel, are requested to provide a response to the contract specialist (RIC.SOCHOR@GSA.GOV) and contracting officer (RANIA.SANDERS@GSA.GOV) by COB 3/8/23. The response shall include a listing of at least three (3) recent/relevant projects completed within the last five (5) years, and that they are interested and likely to bid on this project.
