AMENDMENT 0002 This Amendment 0002 is being issued to reschedule the Pre-Proposal and Site Visit from June 15, 2020 to: 1. A new site visit has been scheduled for - Date: June 15, 2020 Time: 10:00 AM Location: Brickell Plaza Building, 909 SE First Avenue, Miami, FL 33131. 2. Incorporate sketch of the 7th floor break room and training room. Work shall include but is not limited to: DEMOLITION: Remove and Dispose Remove existing furniture and protect as necessary. Remove existing vinyl base from Training Room and Kitchen as per attached drawing. Disconnect existing plumbing from existing cabinet in adjacent kitchen. Remove existing countertop, upper and lower cabinets and dispose of properly. REMODEL: Contractor shall protect existing VCT and carpet tiles to prevent possible damage caused by painting. Contractor to patch existing walls as needed and sand if required. Contractor to apply two (2) coats of Low/No VOC paint to the walls in the Training Room, Kitchen and hall leading into Training Room on the 7th Floor. Color to match existing color in main CBP office and approved by the CBP Representative. Contractor to install new cabinetry in Kitchen area with Solid Surface counter top. Cabinets will match existing cabinet layout. Cabinets to match existing cabinets in main CBP office and approved by the CBP Representative. Contractor to install new Solid Surface countertop, sink and faucet. Color of Solid Surface shall be approved by the CBP Representative. Contractor to paint existing door frames (approximately 7 ea). Color of frames to match existing color in main CBP office and approved by the CBP Representative. Contractor to install approximately 250 LF of new vinyl base in areas where it was removed. Color to match existing vinyl base in main CBP office and approved by the CBP Representative. Contractor to replace all furniture removed prior to start of project. Contractor to wipe down all areas to ensure no construction dust remains. This procurement will be set-aside for Total Small Business concerns. The estimated project magnitude is $25,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is, 236220 -- Commercial and Institutional Building Construction with a Small Business Administration size standard of $ 36.5 Million. The Period of Performance for this project is 30 calendar days. This project is to be awarded as a firm fixed price contract. The procurement method will be a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP). Award will be made to a firm offering the best value to the Government utilizing the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) source selection procedures. The Request for Proposal offer due date is May 29, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time. A Pre/Bid Site -Visit due date is schedule for Friday May 15, 2020 at 10:00 a.m., 909 SE First Avenue, Brickell Plaza Building, Miami, FL 33131. Contractors should arrive early to allow reasonable amount of time to get through security in the building. (Please meet in the lobby).
