The General Services Administration, Public Building Services, Region 4, has a need for general contractors to provide construction services on an IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity) basis for repair and alteration projects at GSA owned and leased facilities throughout the state of North Carolina with concentrations around the cities of Asheville, Charlotte and Raleigh. The three resulting awards from the single solicitation will be three single IDIQ Contracts with concentrations to the each of the following geographical areas: Asheville, NC; Charlotte, NC; and Raleigh, NC. Task order requirements may include but are not limited to: general construction, painting, carpeting, walls and framing, demolition, carpentry, HVAC, electrical work, ceilings and plumbing. The resulting contracts will be procured under NAICS 236220, which has a small business size standard of $36.5 million. It will be a base year and four option periods with each ordering period capacity not to exceed $1,000,000.00. This will be solicited as a 8(a) Set-Aside. Only businesses certified as 8 (a) small businesses need apply. Firms should indicate eligibility for SBA programs and whether they are a 8 8a Small Business, SBA-certified. Additional information related to SBA programs can be found at www.sba.gov. The award, if issued, will include a requirement for a $1,000,000.00 performance bond.
