PRESOLICITATION NOTICE OPLA - Move to the 28th floor of the Summit Federal Building ATLANTA, GEORGIA The General Services Administration (GSA), Region 4 announces its intent to-advertise a formal announcement opportunity for excellence in Design -Build Services. This opportunity shall be for design build project in Atlanta, Georgia and shall appear on/or about July 15, 2019. The Project Name and Location: Office of Principal Legal Advisor (OPLA) - Move to the 28th floor of the Peachtree Federal Summit Building, Atlanta Ga. Project Summary Description: The Peachtree Federal Summit Building is located in downtown Atlanta Georgia. The intent of these modifications is to develop a suite having 10,245.77 USF for use by Office of Principal Legal Advisor as Administrative office space. The project includes space alterations, consisting of demolition and installation of; new partitions, fire rated partitions, doors, hardware, new gypsum board, ceiling system, new light fixtures, and new telephone-data installation. Work shall include modifying the mechanical ductwork, modifying-relocate sprinkler heads, electrical work for new lights and outlets, new telephone and data outlets, providing conduit and junction boxes for the security system, and coordinating security devices. The agency will be occupying one half of the new OPLA space while design is underway. During construction, the project shall be phased to complete one half of the floor and move the tenant to the completed area when it is substantially complete. Care shall be taken to ensure that safety precautions are in place to prevent any harm or injury to any of the tenants while construction is underway. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.
