SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE – ONLY! This notice DOES NOT constitute a Request for Proposal, nor does it represent any commitment by the Government. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to determine availability and capability of qualified Small Businesses including; Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses, Veteran Owned, Woman Owned Small Businesses, Small Disadvantage Business, 8(a) Certified or HUBZone Certified. General Services Administration (GSA) Public Building Services (PBS), Region 4, is seeking potential small business sources, capable of providing repairs and alterations including designbuild to the Summit Federal Building located at 401 W. Peachtree Street N.W. Suits 2900 & 3000, Atlanta, GA. The scope of services includes; Design Build capabilities and the expertise to renovate the USSS 29th floor offices by removing the carpet and installing anti-status vinyl floor including modifying the lighting, mechanical and HAVC system. This project includes a tenant build-out for the US Department of Secret Service-Electronic Crime Task Force (ECTF) modernization lab. All work shall include design and construction services with all incidental and related work for complete space modernizations ready for the use intended. The Summit Building is federally owned and all designs and construction should apply GSA principles in an effort to maintain existing status, as well as consider the Summit Federal Building Design Standards to adhere to. In 2012, a Presidential Memorandum was issued that requires Federal Agencies to seek reduction of space. GSA is one of the leaders and main facilitators in ensuring the implementation of this policy. The contractor is expected to be sufficiently knowledgeable in this type of installation to complete the scope of work in a manner that will result in the intended functional product. It’s the contractors’ responsibility to visit the site and to include all work necessary for a complete job. Work must meet all applicable codes, building standards, manufacturer’s. The Disclosure of the magnitude of construction for this project is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00 This procurement will be advertised under North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. An organization that is not considered a small business under the applicable NAICS code (236220) SHOULD NOT submit a response to this notice. The Small Business size standard for NAICS code 236220 is $36.5 million dollars in average annual receipts over the past three (3) years. Responses Response should be emailed to tyrone.mcclain@gsa.gov not later than August 26, 2019 including a one page Capability Statement. Each response will be reviewed by the Contracting Officer for the purpose of determining whether a reasonable expectation of obtaining a sufficient number of offers from qualified and responsible small business concerns exist. All information furnished to the Government in response to this notice will be used for review purposes only and is not submitted as a proposal or quote.
