SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE- ONLY! This notice DOES NOT constitute a Request for Proposal, nor does it represent any commitment by the Government. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine availability and capability of qualified Small Businesses. Responses to this notice will be used for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government. This notice is intended strictly for market research. This procurement will be advertised under North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The small business size standard for NAICS code 236220 is $36.5M. Project Description and Approach The General Services Administration (GSA) intends to award a firm fixed-price contract for this project to supply material and labor to demolish and remove steel stairs at the rear entry of the Newnan County Courthouse. All work should be coordinated and commence during Regular Business Hours, unless GSA directs you otherwise. Due diligence should be taken to protect the existing property and facilities of the Newnan County Courthouse. The Contractor is expected to be sufficiently knowledgeable in this type of work and to complete the Scope of Worn in a manner that will result in a complete and functional end product for the Agency. It shall be the contractor’s responsibility to attend the site visit and to include in their pricing, all necessary surveys, testing reports and or whatever is needed for a complete and finished product for the agency and or end user for the building. The Disclosure of the magnitude of construction for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000.00. Responses Response should be emailed to tyrone.mcclain@gsa.gov not later than August 14, 2019 including a one page Capability Statement. Each response will be reviewed by the Contracting Officer for the purpose of determining whether a reasonable expectation of obtaining a sufficient number of offers from qualified and responsible small business concerns exist. All information furnished to the Government in response to this notice will be used for review purposes only and is not submitted as a proposal or quote.
