Jacobs Technology, Inc. (Jacobs) has been awarded a Single-Award Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to provide Construction Management services for the construction of the new Flight Dynamic Research Facility (FDRF) at NASA’s Langley Research Facility in Hampton, Virginia. As the Construction Manager as agent (CMa), Jacobs will act as an advisor/consultant to the Government and to assist with executing the construction of a highly unique facility and to ensure the Government’s best interests are upheld. The CMa will assist GSA in ensuring that the requirements as related to scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety and other aspects of the project are met. The term of the BPA is five (5) years to include a base year with four (4) one year option periods. Firm fixed price task orders will be issued to provide a multitude of tasks in support GSA and NASA at various phases of the project to include development of a Program of Requirements, development of Design/Build procurement strategy and documentation and statement of work documents, construction phase and commissioning services. The BPA Maximum Ordering Limitation for the professional services required is $6,000,000.
