The General Services Administration (GSA), Northeast and Caribbean Region (Region 2), is conducting a market survey and is seeking sources for general contractor services. The requirement for this opportunity includes complete demolition and replacement of the existing low-slope roofing system at the Martin Luther King Jr. Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse located in Newark, NJ 07102. The courthouse is a five story building originally constructed in the 1980s. The total area of the multi-level roof is approximately, 50,000 square feet. It will be the General Contractor's responsibility to provide all management, supervision, manpower, equipment, and supplies necessary to complete the work. On-site supervision shall be provided by General Contractor personnel during all work on site. GSA is looking for SBA certified Small Businesses that will have management staff located locally during construction.
