This Market Survey Is for Information and Planning Purposes Only Project Title: Design-Build for Domestic Water Piping Repairs Design-Build Services Contract for Domestic Water Piping Replacement, at the Almeric L. Christian Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse located at 3013 Estate Golden Rock, St Croix, USVI The General Services Administration/Public Buildings Service (PBS), Northeast and Caribbean Region 2, Construction Excellence, is conducting market research (sources sought notice) to determine if contractors are interested in doing business with the Government. This market research is for information purposes only. This is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP), and NO existing drawings will be provided at this time. All contractors interested in this source sought and doing future business with the Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), an official website https://www.sam.gov of the U.S. Government. There is no cost to use SAM, and the site is Free. Building Information Overview: The Almeric L. Christian USCH consists of two three-story structures connected through open corridors. The building has a total gross square foot of 76,227. The major tenants are the U.S. District Court, the U.S. Department of Justice, and the U.S. Marshals Service. The building operates Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. Eligibility: The applicable 2022 North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction $39.5 Size Standard Classification million. Project Synopsis: This project shall be performed by an experienced Design-Build Contractor that has performed similar work. The estimated period of performance is 365 calendar days. The magnitude of construction for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The project includes, but is not limited to, providing the design, all labor, materials, tools, and equipment to install a new domestic water main line from the water meter to the first-floor water cistern, complete replacement of the domestic water piping system with CPVC, replacement of the domestic water pumping system, building water cistern repairs, and restrooms renovations including all phasing and sequencing. The work includes all incidental repairs. The Project Objectives: Repairs the domestic water piping systems to resist the corrosion environment at the building. Perform all work in coordination with the onsite building personnel during off-hours. Work shall be coordinated with other onsite contractors at the Almeric Christian Federal Office Building. The Contractor shall coordinate all work activity with the Building Manager and the Project Manager or Contracting Officer's Representative to ensure that proper security and access arrangements are made with no impact on the construction schedule; This Market Survey Is for Information and Planning Purposes Only.
