Card Reader Installation IRS 915 Lafayette Blvd, Bridgeport, CT Building Number: CT0059ZZ Synopsis Secure the services of an IDENTIV/HIRSCH certified, approved, licensed and bonded Contractor to install new SMART card readers and access control hardware with IDENTIV access control Technology, control panels, firmware, card readers, etc. in order to be in compliance with HSPD-12, FICAM, and NIST for the IRS. The project addresses security concerns for the IRS located at the McMahon Courthouse and Federal Building. Work Includes: Contractor shall install new card readers, control panels, firmware, and associated accessories as needed to make sure all card readers are fully functional and compatible with the latest PIVII (i.e., SMART) card to be also used as an access card. Refer to drawings for Card Reader/panel locations. Location questions should be review with local security specialist POC. Connect All Panel access device wiring connections as per provided DGDD [door group design document] The Contractor shall participate in field testing with IRS NAC to make sure all card readers, panels and associated accessories are installed properly, and the building is ready to load to IRS Enterprise Network Server. The solicitation will be released on or about 11/12/2020, with bids due date on or about 12/8/2020. A pre-bid site visit is scheduled for 11/17/2020 At 10:00 am. The period of performance is estimated to be approximately 90 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed. *To access solicitation package we require vendors to be registered in SAM.gov.
