The General Services Administration (GSA) New England Region, Contract Operations Branch is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) for the 3rd Floor FMCSA Suite Security Upgrade and Space Refresh Project, Montpelier Federal Building, Montpelier, VT. The contactor will be responsible to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary as outlined below: Demolition of existing storage room. Construction of a new secure entry vestibule. Re-working and adding electrical receptacles for new vestibule. Removal and disposal of 6 existing cubicles. Replacement of data cabling throughout Suite. Replacement of lighting throughout Suite. Reworking of HVAC system, replacing light mounted devices with standard drop in ceiling devices. Replacement of acoustical ceiling. Expansion of existing HSPD-12 Access control system for 2 new doors and partition. Installation of new Intrusion Detection System. Installation of new Camera System. Installation of new AiPhone intercom system. Removal and replacement of carpet. Painting of entire Suite. The U.S. Government has a requirement for the United States General Service Administration at the Montpelier Federal Building in Montpelier, VT. This procurement is a 100% Total Small Business Set-aside. The estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. The NAICS Code is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a size standard of $39.5 Million. The proposal due date is February 18, 2022. A pre-proposal site visit is scheduled for January 21, 2022 and all questions regarding the site visit and RFP are due on February 01, 2021 at 12:00pm. Technical documents are available through the secure website via sam.gov. Offerors are responsible for obtaining the RFP and all related documents. It is also the offeror’s responsibility to monitor the site for the release of the RFP, and amendments and any related information.
