The General Services Administration (GSA) New England Region, Contract Operations Branch is issuing this Request For Proposal (RFP) for the contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision for O’Neill Hydronic Piping III located in Boston, MA. The piping at the O'Neill is aged and deteriorating and is in dire need of repair/replacement. This is the third in a series of projects being executed to address the hydronic piping deficiencies at the O'Neill Federal Building. This 3rd project focuses on the north side piping and HVAC system deficiencies that must be addressed according to seasonal temperatures to minimize impact to the building systems and GSA's Customers. The project will include, but is not limited to piping risers, fan coil branch piping, valving, insulation, furniture move and firestopping. This procurement is a 100% Total Small Business Set-aside. The estimated price range is between $750,000.00 and $1,500,000.00. The NAICS code is 238220 – Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors with the small business size standard of $16.5 Million. The solicitation will be released on or about June 30, 2020, with a proposal due date on or about August 13, 2020. A virtual pre-proposal conference is scheduled for on or about July 13, 2020. A pre-proposal site visit is scheduled for on or about July 14, 2020. Technical documents will be available through the secure website via beta.sam.gov. Offerors are responsible for obtaining the RFP and all related documents. It is also the offeror’s responsibility to monitor the site for the release of the RFP, and amendments and any related information.
