This notice is issued in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.213-2 Presolicitation notices. Proposed work: A design-build contract to renovate 78,000 square feet of existing warehouse space to create a Centralized Processing Center (CPC) in Nogales, Arizona within the Tucson Sector Area of Responsibility. The intent of project is to create a space that better fits the operational needs of U. S. Border Patrol (BP) Agents and staff. In order to fulfill this need the CPC will be designed as a multi-functional facility which is intended to house approximately 500 Non-Citizens. The renovation will consist of administrative space for BP functions such as offices, open workstations, conference space, restrooms, processing and holding space, Non- Citizen phone booths, LAN room space, janitorial and electrical, mechanical and fire protection equipment rooms. Additionally, the project will include electrifying an existing vehicle gate that will be used for Non-Citizen transportation, new connection to city sewer, utility infrastructure upgrades and supplemental storm water management work to eliminate drainage issues at the warehouse. Magnitude of the Requirement: $25 million to $35 million Location: Nogales, Arizona Tentative Dates Invitation Issued: December 11, 2020 Opening Offers: December 30, 2020 Completing Contract Performance: This is a design-build procurement, plans are not yet produced and are therefore not available for review. Due Date for Offers: December 30, 2020 Award is restricted to small businesses. There is no charge for solicitation documents. The solicitation will be publicized through the Governmentwide point of entry in accordance with FAR 5.204.
