The General Services Administration (GSA), Public Buildings Service (PBS), is soliciting proposals from firms having the capability to furnish and install three (3) exterior full height security turnstiles, or man gates. The scope of the resultant contract includes providing all labor, materials, and supervision necessary to remove the existing gates and fencing and replace them with three (3) new man gates. This work will include site preparation and all concrete and electrical work necessary to complete the installation. All work associated with this project will be performed at the FDA’s Pacific Southwest Laboratory and District Office, Irvine, CA . This notice meets the requirements of FAR 5.201. OBTAINING A SOLICITATION: Solicitation is available for viewing and/or downloading on this website (beta.SAM.gov). Solicitation documents will not be issued on compact disc (CD) unless the Government determines that it is necessary. Traditional hard copies of solicitations will NOT be available for this requirement. This procurement is a 100% small business set aside. The designated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this opportunity is 238290, which has a corresponding size standard of $15.0 M. The government will use Lowest Price Technically Acceptable Source Selection Procedures in its evaluation of proposals. The Government intends to award the contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is deemed to represent the lowest price technically acceptable proposal.
