This requirement is conducted under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1(c), Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition requirement Employment Verification and Unemployment Compensation Processing Services. This is a sole source requirement for which TALX Corporation (now part of Equifax Workforce Solutions) is the only known provider that can meet the requirements.
