Dear Vendor: The General Services Administration (GSA), Office of the Chief Information Officer (GSA-IT), has a "Brand Name" requirement for the purchase of "CAST Highlight- On Premises (Federal Only)" licenses and Training and Implementation Support Services. This requirement is conducted under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1(c), Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Completion for Name Brand requirement "CAST Highlight- On Premises (Federal Only) Licenses". GSA intends to make a sole source award to CAST Software, Inc. to provide annual maintenance support for CAST Highlight- On Premises (Federal Only) Licenses". CAST Software Inc. is the only known source that can meet the government's minimum needs. Your firm is hereby invited to submit a price quote in response to services outlined in Section 4.0 "Product Requirements/Description" of this RFQ. Proposed pricing of "CAST Highlight- On Premises" licenses is to be offered against contractor's current commercial list price. In responding to this RFQ, it is the contractor's responsibility to provide current, relevant, complete and accurate information in the description/specification their price quote.
