General Services Administration (GSA) seeking information regarding sercured and reserved parking spaces in Newark, NJ: State: New Jersey City: Newark Delineated Area: 10 Block radius of Peter Rodino Federal Building, 978 Broad St, Newark, NJ, 07102 Space Type: secured + reserved parking Parking Spaces, Government employees shall be provided access to the leased parking lots 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The lot should be attended between 6:30AM and 6:30PM, Monday through Friday. (Total):45 Parking Spaces (Surface): 0 Parking Spaces (Structured): 0 Parking Spaces (Reserved): 45 Additional Requirements: Secured and reserved Parking: Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic, and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. A fully serviced lease is required. Offered space shall not be in the 1-percent-annual-chance floodplain (formerly referred to as “100-year” floodplain). The U.S. Government currently occupies 45 secured and reserved parking spaces under lease within 10 block walking radius of Peter Rodino Federal Building, 978 Broad St, Newark, NJ, 07102. Government employees shall be provided access to the leased parking lots 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The lot should be attended between 6:30AM and 6:30PM, Monday through Friday. The Government is considering alternative space for the total requirement of 45 secured and reserved parking spaces if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government’s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime.
