General Services Administration (GSA) seeks to lease the following space in support of the 2024 Democratic National Convention: State: Illinois City: Chicagoland Area Delineated Area: Boundaries: North: From Willow Road (E&W) to E Palatine Road West: From I-290 (N&S) to I-355 South: From Sauk Trail to Illinois/Indiana State Line East: Lake Shore Drive (Route 41) to W 47th Street to N Austin to Irving Park to Lake Shore Drive/Sheraton Road Minimum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 30,000 Maximum Sq. Ft. (ABOA): 34,500 Space Type: Retail or Warehouse Parking Spaces (Total): 120 Parking Spaces (Surface): 120 Parking Spaces (Structured): 0 Parking Spaces (Reserved): 0 Full Term: 6 months Firm Term: 6 months Option Term: N/A Additional Requirements: Offered space must be a large and contiguous open and air conditioned space with a minimum ceiling height of 14 feet and a loading dock. The space can be stand-alone or have adjacent tenants as long as the demising wall is secure. Space must have potential for efficient layout and located in a professional and aesthetically pleasing setting. The Government requires a fully serviced lease including 120 surface parking spaces for Government vehicles. The Government shall have access to the space 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Offered location must have local amenities, restaurants; and shops within a ½ -¾-mile distance from the location. Offered space must meet Government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic, and sustainability standards per the terms of the Lease. A fully serviced lease is required. Offered space shall not be in the 0.2-percent-annual chance floodplain (formerly referred to as “500-Year” floodplain). Entities are advised to familiarize themselves with the telecommunications prohibitions outlined under Section 889 of the FY19 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). ).
