The United States Government is testing the real estate market for availability of existing buildings to lease for a residential reentry center. Rentable space must yield 30,000 ANSI / BOMA office area square feet available for use by the tenant for personnel, furnishings, and equipment. LOCATION: The buildings must be located on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. MINIMUM BUILDING REQUIREMENTS: 24/7 use for a residential reentry center. Property boundary must be at least 1,000 linear feet away from law enforcement uses. Must be within a walkable 10 blocks of public transportation. Property must be zoned for Group Housing or capable of being rezoned to accommodate the requirement. Must meet the Government’s RP8 seismic requirements. A fully serviced lease is required. LEASE TERM: The lease term will be for 20 years.
