GSA is seeking sealed bids for a term contract to purchase and remove Government-owned DEMIL A mixed metals and construction/demolition scrap at Anniston Army Depot in Anniston, Alabama, estimated at about 1,000,000 pounds (446.43 gross tons) annually. The contract has a one-year base period plus four one-year Government options, for up to five years, and the awarded contractor must furnish and maintain five 20-yard and five 30-yard heavy-duty roll-off containers plus transportation, labor, equipment, and removal services. Bidders must price as a percentage of the Fastmarkets MB-STE-0788 Steel Scrap Shredder Feed FOB Southeast index (to two decimals) and complete a mandatory pre-bid site inspection by appointment; the apparent high bidder must provide a $25,000 performance guarantee. Questions are due November 19, 2026, and only Appendix A is submitted with the sealed bid, while Appendix B is required only from the apparent high bidder during the post-bid/pre-award process.
