DOT/Maritime Mixed Metals Term Contract
This is a term contract for the sale and recurring removal of DEMIL A Mixed Metals Scrap from multiple U.S. Maritime Administration facilities in the Hampton Roads region of Virginia, including Norfolk, Newport News, Portsmouth, and Williamsburg. The contract has a 3-year base period with options to extend for up to two additional years. The estimated annual scrap volume is approximately 60,000 pounds, and the material must be recycled for its material content only. A mandatory pre-bid site inspection is required, and the performance of services is subject to strict site-specific maritime, operational, and security requirements. A performance guarantee of $2,500 is required post-award.
